Acceptance
By creating an account or using Plantora, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Service description
Plantora is an AI-powered plant care application offering plant identification, disease diagnosis, care recommendations, weather monitoring, and fertilization reminders. The service is provided via web app and (future) mobile apps.
Account
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
- One account per individual. Account sharing is permitted only within the Pro Family plan (up to 4 users per shared garden).
- You must be at least 16 years old to register.
Acceptable use
You may use Plantora only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to:
- Upload illegal, harmful, or rights-infringing content.
- Attempt to access or interfere with other users' data.
- Use the service for commercial scraping, resale of AI outputs, or competitive analysis.
- Submit photos depicting minors, private property without permission, or other sensitive content beyond plants.
- Bypass rate limits, security measures, or subscription tiers.
Subscription & payment
- A free tier is available with limited features.
- Paid plans (Plus, Pro) are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
- You may cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. No partial refunds.
- EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal on annual purchases, refundable in full, except where the service was used substantially.
- Prices may change with at least 30 days notice. New prices apply at next renewal.
Your content
You retain full ownership of the photos, notes, and other content you upload. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to store and process your content solely to deliver the Plantora service to you. We do not claim ownership, do not use your content for marketing, and do not allow third parties to use it for their AI training.
AI-generated content
Plant identifications, diagnoses, care recommendations, and other outputs are generated by AI models and are informational only. They are not a substitute for professional agronomic, veterinary, or medical advice. Always verify before:
- Applying chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or fungicides.
- Consuming any plant identified by the AI as edible.
- Treating animals or humans for plant exposure.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, accuracy of AI outputs, or that the service will meet your specific requirements.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for loss of plants, gardens, or related economic damages arising from your use of AI recommendations.
Termination
You may delete your account anytime from Settings → Delete account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hungary, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring claims in your country of residence.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email and through the app at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
